In addition to the document intended to provide you with guidelines, best practices, and suggestions for creating online content to offer through UAccess Learning, this page lists various bugs, issues, and considerations specific to the four authoring suites officially supported:

Articulate Presenter and QuizMaker '09
Question feedback is not working as expected. Likely due to how responses are submitted. Change question feedback to "Submit one question at a time."
Users cannot print quiz results. Make sure to allow learners to review their quiz results in the Results Slide.
Software won't run. Ensure your system matches or exceeds the minimum requirements set forth by Articulate.
Information is returned to UAccess Learning without user interaction. Content sends data back to UAccess Learning every ten minutes regardless of learner input.
Learners "pass" an assessment without finishing that assessment. If learners reach the passing score prior to finishing all questions when submission is "one question at a time," modules will return a passing status to UAccess Learning. Example: a quiz has 10 questions and requires 80% to pass. Should a learner get the first eight out of ten questions correct, even if the learner does not respond to the last two questions.

Articulate Presenter and QuizMaker '13
Question feedback is not working as expected.

Likely due to how responses are submitted. Change question feedback to "Submit one question at a time.

Quiz results are incorrect on third try. Learners may, if allowed to retry the quiz, receive an incorrect score on a third retry. There is currently no workaround for this bug, as there is no limit to how many times learners can take an assessment.
"Print Results" displays both questions and correct answers regardless of options chosen in the software.

The only way to allow learners to print quiz results and prevent correct answers from displaying as correct (regardless of the learner's response) is to edit one of the published HTML files. Navigate to and use a text editor (for example, Notepad) to open the /presentation_content/report.html file. Scroll to the bottom of the file and comment out the following code by wrapping it in /* and */, as shown below.

<SCRIPT>
/*           if (g_oPrintOptions.bShowQuizReview)
                {
                                var arrQuizzes  = g_oPrintOptions.arrQuizzes;
                                // for (strQuizId in g_listQuizzes)
                                for (var i = 0; i < arrQuizzes.length; i++)
                                {
                                                WriteQuizResults(arrQuizzes[i]);
                                }
                }
*/

</SCRIPT>

Modules do not resume as expected. When publishing a module to be tracked (a quiz, for example), be sure to choose SCORM 1.2 as the method. AICC is known to create problems.
Software won't run. Ensure your system matches or exceeds the minimum requirements set forth by Articulate.

Learner cannot choose between Flash and HTML5 content. This is a feature, not a bug. When launching the module, the Flash or HTML5 version runs depending on the browser and platform the learner is using. Ensure testing of your projects as both Flash and HTML5. For more information, view Articulate's pages on publishing using Presenter '13, and QuizMaker '13.

Some text fields do not reset upon retrying an assessment. If this issue presents itself, use a trigger in each question slide to reset response variables.

Adobe Captivate 7
"Retake Quiz" button disappears. This can happen when the learner clicks the "Review Quiz" button. If this problem presents itself, ensure you display the Table of Contents to allow users to retake the quiz.
Learners cannot navigate backwards in a quiz. If the "Submit All Questions at Once" option in chosen, learners are confined to going forward only.
Player window cannot be resized. This is a known bug in IE10. Suggest learners use a different browser.
Learners cannot resume modules. Adobe Captivate 7 does not provide this option. If you wish to allow your learners to resume, consider using a different authoring tool.
Cannot choose a passing score. Adobe Captivate 7 does not provide this option. If you wish to choose a minimum passing score for an assessment, consider using a different authoring tool.
Modules do not resume as expected. When publishing a module to be tracked (a quiz, for example), be sure to choose SCORM 1.2 as the method. AICC is known to create problems.
Module does run. Modules published in HTML5 do not run in Firefox. Adobe Captivate 7 can publish in both Flash and HTML5 formats, but Flash is the default if Flash is an option on the learner's platform. Be sure to test both methods when publishing.
